Name: Tiffany
Blog: Glitz and Glam by Tiff
What motivated you to start your blog and
share your insight as a model?
I started blogging, because I wanted another way to get
myself out there as a model and I didn't really know any other models that were
doing it. I felt like it would help me
to have a voice in fashion, share my journey and be an inspiration to others. It started more of a personal thing and has
evolved from there. I decided to stick
with it and I continue to learn more about being a blogger as I go along. I have started to see that other models and
people in general look up to me and really respect my opinion. I didn't know what to expect when I started blogging,
and I still don't know where it's going to go, but I am having fun with it and
want to continue to grow.
Being a model, how would you describe
your personal style?
I don't really have a specific style. I like to play with and try different things
like patterns and colors. My philosophy
has always been to throw things together and make them work some how. I don't like sticking to any one specific
look.
What would you recommend visiting in San
Diego?
There are so many options and things to do in San Diego! I would suggest visiting the Beaches, La Jolla
and Coronado are two of my favorites, and eating at some of the amazing restaurants
that we have here.
What has been your favorite experience
about creating a blog?
I honestly still feel like a newbie in the world of
blogging, but I love when people come up to me and tell me that they like my
posts! That is really exciting for me. It feels good to know that I am touching
someone's life in some way and that people like my point of view and what I
have to say.
What are your top three handbag
essentials?
Burt's Bees lip balm, my ColoreScience Mineral Brush and
business cards.
What advice would you give to young, aspiring
models?
To aspiring models I would tell them that being a model is
not as glamorous as you may think that it is. There is a lot of hard work and
patience involved. It is a fun industry, but also very cutthroat.
